Last year, I was fortunate enough to visit Holland just at the start of tulip season, where they have tulips everywhere. I found these tucked in a wagon and parked in the courtyard of a public building in the middle of the city.  Aren’t they pretty? 

Next, I toured the Keukenhof Botanical Gardens in Lisse, where I found these beauties:

And because the bulbs I brought home as a souvenir are just now popping up and starting to bloom, I had to make you a tulip block for the Quilt Block Mania gardening theme.
