Quilt Block Mania

We’ve got a special block for you today called Lemon Drop, as part of the Fancy Drinks theme for Quilt Block Mania. It’s a simple to make block that combines piecing and applique that comes together quickly. This theme made me think of summer evenings on my front porch with good friends, enjoying the evening breeze and a long visit. My favorite place in the world to be!

I was able to make this block for a friend from a quilt guild block exchange and it turned out sooo cute!! I used yellow and green to match her theme, and I loved the look.  I hope you enjoy it!
